Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled attorney with strong litigation and transactional experience to handle a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of the following areas: personal injury, criminal defense, business disputes, real estate, and/or contract law. This role will involve direct client interaction, case strategy development, legal research, drafting, negotiations, and courtroom advocacy.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing.

  • 1-3+ years of experience in litigation and/or transactional law (civil litigation, personal injury, criminal defense, real estate, or business law preferred).

  • Courtroom experience, including motions, hearings, and trials, is a plus.

  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and client-relations skills.

  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Experience with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including civil litigation, personal injury, business disputes, criminal defense, landlord-tenant matters, and contract-related issues.

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and mediations.

  • Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal options.

  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in legal disputes.

  • Draft and review contracts, demand letters, and corporate agreements.

  • Handle client consultations and maintain clear communication throughout representation.

  • Work collaboratively with paralegals and other attorneys in the firm.

  • Maintain organized case files and meet court deadlines.
